Summer is just about over and boy did we earn our stripes this year. It was just two years or so ago we had a summer that never got above 100. Now we are in an extended hot spell with no rain. Thank you Lord for air conditioning.
We are hearing from many of our Owners on the challenges in caring for their landscaping. We have some tips in this month’s newsletter which will help.
These temperatures and ever growing population in DFW strains the electrical grid. We now recommending to all our Owners to include a natural gas powered generator in their new homes. If there is a disruption in your electrical service the generator can keep your air-conditioning, refrigerator and other comfort items operating. It is worth consideration for your next home.
We are on the home stretch for our two Classic Collection homes in Argyle. Both 4 bedroom one stories on approximately 1/2 acre sites should be ready in late September. Details here. We have more projects coming soon in Roanoke and Southlake.
There are some new faces around the sites, please welcome Dvante Johnson our new site assistant, Patrick Madej our new carpenter and Gabriel Lafara our new intern.
Our family just returned from our summer vacation in Maui literally a week before the fires. It breaks our heart that many of those who entertained us, feed us and cared for us on our vacation are suffering. We encourage all who can to donate to the Hawaiian Salvation Army as they support the recovery of a beautiful island and people – Donate Here.
As summer draws to a close, it can only mean one thing. Fall is just around the corner, get those Christmas lights up! Have a great month, if we can ever be of service, please call or message.
